Mira | 6.13.15 | Santa Fe

Mira and I had been planning this shoot for awhile now. The goal was to achieve an edgier look to fit the location. We had originally planned for the shoot to happen at local gas station that has been closed for a few years but as we arrived there were some people working on the exterior so instead we went to one of my favorite places, the Santa Fe Art District. The alleyways provided the perfect backdrop for the photos even though her outfit and 90s grunge inspired makeup was specifically planned for the original location.

Once we got to Santa Fe we went through a few blocks in the alley twice. This ensured that we were able to get all the shots that we wanted to. I really love the art district because each time I visit there I am able to capture more images and they remain diverse. The alleys had plant life, chain link fence, murals created by fantastic local artists, etc.

From adventuring through Denver, to having lovely conversations and creating great images, this shoot was so much fun. I continue to shoot because of of the memories and stories behind the images. If you are interested in booking a session, email me at jaltergottphoto@gmail.com
